First Aid at Work – Level 3

·         If the assessment of First Aid needs highlights the need for qualified First Aider’s, then this qualification will provide you with suitable, highly trained personnel.

·         This comprehensive three-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way.

·         In addition, this course will include any protocol changes that may have arisen since their last training course. This course will give the participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

·         Meets employer’s statutory obligations (Revised and amended L74 guidance October 2013)

·         Resuscitation Council (UK) compliant

First Aid at Work Re-qualification – Level 3

First Aid at Work Re-qualification – Level 3 accredited by First Aid Awards

·         If the assessment of First Aid needs highlights the need for qualified First Aider’s, then this qualification will provide you with suitable, highly trained personnel.

·         This comprehensive two-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way.

·         This 2-day First Aid at Work course is designed for those who currently hold a First Aid at Work qualification and are due to expire.

·         Meets employer’s statutory obligations (Revised and amended L74 guidance October 2013)

·         Resuscitation Council (UK) compliant

Emergency Paediatric First Aid – Level 3

·         The qualification is designed for learners with a responsibility for the care of children and babies and provides knowledge and skills to deal with a range of paediatric first aid conditions and incidents.

·         The purpose of the qualification is for the learner to attain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of Paediatric First Aid situations.

Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an AED – Level 2

Teamwork Physical Intervention and Restraint (Management of Violence and Aggression)

·         This course gives the participants the skills, knowledge and confidence to safely manage aggressive individuals in care settings.

·         The course covers the theoretical aspect of violence and aggression including human factors, risk associated with restraints, legal use of force and the use of rapid tranquilisation.

·         Participants will learn the physical skills required to restrain an individual using least restrictive intervention following NICE Guidelines.

2 day course set against NHS Protect and General Services Association Curriculum

Valid for 2 years
·         This 2 day course is a refresher of the 3 day course above which is required every 2 years.

·         Participants will have their skills and knowledge re-assessed and must reach the expected standards to re-qualify.

Conflict Resolution, De-escalation and Disengagement Skills (Management of Violence and Aggression)
1 day course set against NHS Protect and General Services Association Curriculum
Maximum 10 participants
Valid for 2 years
·         This course gives participants the skills required to maintain their own personal safety when faced with challenging individuals using de-escalation and disengagement skills.

·         This course also comprise of theoretical aspect of violence and aggression.
